Who is Rich Vos?

Rich Vos, born on June 30, 1957, in Plainfield, New Jersey, is a legendary stand-up comic, writer, and actor. With a career spanning several decades, Vos is renowned for his sharp wit, candid humor, and significant contributions to the comedy scene.

Vos began his stand-up career in 1984, quickly establishing himself in local clubs. In 1995, he made history as the first white comedian to perform on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, a platform predominantly featuring African American comedians. His career further gained momentum with his participation in NBC's Last Comic Standing, where he finished third in the first season (2003) and was a finalist in the third season (2004).

Vos became a regular on Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, a groundbreaking show known for its unfiltered roundtable discussions and sharp comedic debates. His quick-witted humor and ability to engage in raw, honest conversations made him a standout on the show, solidifying his place as a respected voice in the comedy world.

Throughout his career, Vos has released several stand-up specials and albums, including I'm Killing Here! Rich Vos is married to fellow comedian Bonnie McFarlane, known for her sharp and incisive comedic style. Together, they co-host the popular podcast My Wife Hates Me, where they provide a hilarious and candid look at their marriage, careers, and daily lives.
