Tom Segura, born Thomas Weston Segura on April 16, 1979, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster. He is best known for his Netflix specials and as the co-host of the popular podcasts Your Mom's House and Two Bears One Cave.
Segura began his stand-up career shortly after graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. He performed at various comedy festivals, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs. His early work also involved writing and producing transcripts for reality shows such as Extreme Makeover and My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss.
Segura gained widespread recognition with his Netflix specials, including Completely Normal (2014), Mostly Stories (2016), Disgraceful (2018), Ball Hog (2020), and Sledgehammer (2023). He has made numerous television appearances on shows like Conan, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Workaholics. In film, Segura has appeared in Countdown (2019) and Instant Family (2018). Alongside his wife, comedian Christina Pazsitzky, he co-hosts the podcast Your Mom's House, and with comedian Bert Kreischer, he co-hosts Two Bears One Cave.
In 2022, Segura released a book titled I'd Like to Play Alone, Please, a collection of humorous essays. He continues to tour extensively, bringing his observational and often dark comedic style to audiences worldwide. Segura resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and their two sons.
