Bert Kreischer, born Albert Charles Kreischer Jr. on November 3, 1972, in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a stand-up comic, podcaster, reality television host, fat guy and actor. He gained national attention in 1997 when Rolling Stone magazine featured him as "the top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country" during his time at Florida State University. This article inspired the 2002 film National Lampoon's Van Wilder.
Bert began his stand-up comedy career in 1997, performing at clubs in Tallahassee, Florida. His energetic storytelling and larger-than-life personality quickly garnered attention, leading to opportunities in television. He hosted FX's Hurt Bert and Travel Channel's Bert the Conqueror and Trip Flip, showcasing his adventurous spirit and comedic talents.
In addition to television hosting, Bert expanded his reach through podcasting. He produces and hosts the weekly podcast Bertcast, co-hosts 2 Bears, 1 Cave with Tom Segura, and presents the cooking show Something’s Burning.
