Who is Akaash Singh?

Akaash Singh, born on May 4, 1984, in Dallas, Texas, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster. He is best known for co-hosting the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz and for his comedy special Bring Back Apu on YouTube.

Singh began developing his stand-up skills during school talent shows. He attended Austin College from 2002 to 2006, initially on a pre-med track, but left to pursue comedy full-time. After moving to New York City, he honed his craft and gained recognition through performances on MTV's Guy Code and Wild 'N Out, as well as appearances on Netflix's Brown Nation and HBO's The Leftovers.

Singh's career expanded with the co-creation of the Flagrant podcast alongside Andrew Schulz, which has garnered a substantial following for its unfiltered comedic discussions. In February 2022, he released his comedy special Bring Back Apu on YouTube, addressing topics like race and representation with his characteristic humor.

Singh continues to tour nationally, delivering his energetic and insightful comedy to audiences across the country. He remains an active voice in the comedy community, engaging with fans through his podcast and live performances.
